As a Front-End Developer, you’ll work alongside the CTO and Development team helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
The position is open to Ukrainian refugees and the company offers to reimburse accommodation costs in Lithuania for up to 6 months and provide any necessary assistance.
What you'll do
Identifying, creating, and applying software development and security standards and processes;
Planning and designing software components;
Estimating time and effort required for software development;
Constructing, amending, and verifying software components;
Applying test-driven development and ensuring appropriate test coverage;
Using peer review techniques — such as pair programming;
Documenting software components;
Understanding and obtaining agreement to the value of the software components to be developed;
Selecting appropriate development methods and life cycles;
Applying recovery techniques to ensure the software being developed is not lost;
Implementing appropriate change control to software development practices;
Resolving operational problems with software and fixing bugs.
Role responsibilities
Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends and refactors complex programs/scripts and integration software services;
Contributes to the selection of the software development methods, tools and techniques;
Applies agreed on standards and tools to achieve well-engineered outcomes;
Participates in reviews of own work and leads reviews of colleagues' work;
Takes technical responsibility across all stages and iterations of software development, plans and drives software construction activities for strategic, large, and complex development projects;
Measures and monitors applications of project/team standards for software construction, including software security;
Contributes to the development of organizational policies, standards, and guidelines for software development, construction and refactoring;
Adapts or develops new methods and organizational capabilities and drives adoption of, and adherence to policies and standards.
Abilities we're interested in
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in resolving complex technical issues such as providing design guidance that follows the enterprise architecture vision and adheres to applicable application technology guidelines and understanding and mitigating the impact of technical design on security, performance, and data privacy;
Participating in application solutions including assisting with planning and architectural design, development, resolution of technical issues, and application rationalization;
Collaborating with Solution Architects and Developers to provide technical design guidance that will align with the strategy and applicable technical standards;
Working independently to evaluate and make strategic decisions that will address specific technology design needs and issues within their technology area;
Participating in the development of thought leadership to influence their sphere of technology in the use of innovation to advance business capabilities;
Working within and leading efforts in Software Development Lifecycles and methodologies including agile, scrum, iterative and waterfall to support the success of the larger IT organization;
Learning rapidly and continuously taking advantage of new technologies, concepts, and business models; demonstrating a history of staying current in emerging technology trends.
Knowledge & skills we are looking for
3 years of professional experience, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field would be considered an advantage;
C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework and later using Visual Studio 2013 [or later];
Proficiency in SQL Server or other comparable databases such as MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle and PostgreSQL;
Knowledge of object programming and software design patterns such as MVC, MVP, Singleton and factory;
Modern web application development (e.g. ReactJS, Redux Toolkit, CSS3, Bootstrap);
Building Application Integrations using REST API and SOAP web services is a plus;
Utilizing containers & container management including Docker, Kubernetes preferably on Azure Cloud;
Cloud-based platforms and services (MS Azure, OpenAPI, Swagger, Apigee);
Continuous integration/continuous deployment (Azure DevOps, Teamcity, Octopus Deploy);
Unit testing using JUnit, nUnit or MOQ and related tools;
Source control using one of Azure DevOps, Bitbucket;
Utilizing rapid-prototyping workflows and development tools;
Microservice architecture and distributed processing patterns;
Project requirements analysis and ability to translate that into software architecture needs;
Test Driven Development and/or Behavior Driven Development.

Fixed monthly remuneration from 3700 EUR to 5500 EUR gross (before tax) based on your competencies, skills, and experience;
